Lovely birthday meal with a great view

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We were allocated a table by the window with panoramic views over Gaia, River Douro and the bridge. The three course meal with port drink combination was excellent and the staff were amazing, describing the food and drink choices. The restaurant for such a lovely time.

Wonderful and great value

Wonderful - and great value. Had the 3 course set menu with matching port catch which turned out to include an amuse bouche and petit fours (a pastel de nata!) and service were excellent with great attention to detail across the piece. Well done to Príncia and colleagues and I would definitely recommend for a post-Port lodge dinner if you\\\'re visiting Porto.

Wonderful food, waiters and view

Fabulous restaurant with an amazing view over the river to Porto. The food is exceptional, an imaginative blend of tastes and textures. Beautiful presentation. The portions look small but they are perfect and very filling. We followed the advice of our three waiters (José, João & Monteiro) on which wine to drink with each course and of course a port to finish off the meal. Their service was very attentive and convivial. I highly recommend this restaurant, it was a very special evening.
